●15 to 30 mL amniotic fluid collected in a BD syringe and transferred into 2 to 3 sterile, plastic, screw cap tubes
●10 to 20 mg chorionic villi collected in a BD syringe with sterile CVS transport media provided by the lab and transferred into sterile, plastic, screw cap tubes. If no sterile CVS transport media is immediately available, place the chorionic villi specimen in a sterile tube and add 5 mL of sterile saline.
