Specimen Handling

Hemolysis; tube not filled with minimum fill volume; specimen drawn in any anticoagulant other than EDTA; specimens diluted or contaminated with IV fluid; clotted specimen, improper labeling; transfer tubes with whole blood; lavender-top (EDTA) tubes received with plasma removed
