Reflex Criteria
Some repeatedly reactive HBsAg results will be confirmed by neutralization at an additional charge (CPT:87341).
A Hepatitis B Core Antibody will be performed at an additional charge (CPT:86704) if the HBsAg is positive and the HBcAb IgM is negative.
HCV RNA Confirmation Qualitative test will be performed at an additional charge (CPT:87521) when the Hepatitis C Antibody is positive or borderline. (Sensitivity of HCVCNF test is 12 HCV RNA IU/mL). Final Reporting time will be 5 days if HCV RNA confirmatory test is added.
A Hepatitis B Core Antibody will be performed at an additional charge (CPT:86704) if the HBsAg is positive and the HBcAb IgM is negative.
