The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at NorthShore provides extensive anatomic, clinical and molecular pathology services to five NorthShore hospitals, Medical Group physician offices, private physician offices, and other healthcare facilities in the Chicago area. Nearly all laboratory tests are performed on-site. This allows us to expedite results for quicker treatment and better outcomes for our patients. For tests not performed in our facilities, we rely on trusted external laboratories such as LabCorp.

NorthShore’s comprehensive online test catalog contains a wide range of assays for diagnosing many common to rare health conditions and diseases. The catalog provides information for:
