The Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center, Department of Laboratory Services provides a wide array of testing and other services to Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center patients, and to other patients and organizations in support of the system’s mission, operating objectives, and strategic priorities. These services are provided on two campuses, West Burlington (WB) and Fort Madison (FM).
Under the direction of our board-certified pathologists, Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center Laboratories are accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and by the Center for Improvement in Healthcare Quality(CIHQ)
Both laboratories participate in a comprehensive proficiency testing program which ensures the integrity of our testing methods.
The above standards of quality, coupled with state-of-the-art technology allows Southeast Iowa Medical Center to provide high quality, clinical testing to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of hospital and clinic patients.
